ANDREA D. CARTWRIGHT is the founding and principal attorney in the Cartwright Law Firm, PLLC and she focuses her talents primarily in the area of debtor/creditor relations. In June of 1993, Ms. Cartwright received her B.A. from the University of Detroit Mercy (magna cum laude) before continuing on to earn her Juris Doctorate degree at Detroit College of Law in January of 1995 (cum laude). Ms. Cartwright practices out of her office in Southfield, Michigan and helps clients achieve debt relief with chapter 7 bankruptcy, chapter 13 reorganization and other debt relief methods. Ms. Cartwright has received an Avvo rating of 8.0 Excellent. The Avvo rating is computed with a formula that takes into account factors including the number of years the attorney has been in practice, his or her industry recognition, professional achievements and history of disciplinary action. Attorney Short graduated from Michigan State University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and then received a J.D. degree with a concentration in International Law from Detroit College of Law in 1998. Along with Ms. Cartwright, Attorney Short is a member of the Consumer Bankruptcy Association. She also participates as a member in the Family Law Section of the Michigan Bar and the Oakland County Bar Association. Her membership in the Welcome Missionary Baptist Church has led to her involvement on the Board of Directors of the WMBC Endowment Fund, and she is actively involved in its legal ministry.
KRISTIN SNYDER was welcomed to The Cartwright Law Firm, PLLC in 2009. Prior to joining the firm, Attorney Snyder ran her own successful home-based legal research business and also has experience in a collections law firm and working for the Michigan Attorney General's office. These years of legal experience give her valuable insight into the creditor side of the bankruptcy process, and she uses this knowledge to help her clients through the process of filing a Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 Bankruptcy. After graduating from Cranbook in Michigan in 1997, Attorney Snyder went on to earn her B.A. from Occidental College in Los Angeles in 2001. She completed her education by earning her J.D. from Wayne State University in 2004. She provides her clients with exceptional legal advice and respect, and is admitted to the practice law in the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan as well as the Federal Courts.
